The New York Jets continue to pick off the Green Bay Packers for players. According to multiple reports, veteran safety Adrian Amos, who spent the past four seasons in Green Bay, agreed to join the Jets on a one-year deal.

Amos reportedly inked a deal that will see him earn up to $4 million in 2023.

The Jets already added four former Packers’ players this offseason. They traded for star quarterback Aaron Rodgers and signed wideouts Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb alongside offensive lineman Billy Turner in free agency.

While Amos isn’t expected to be a starter, he will likely be the next man up. Entering the training camp, last year’s starter Jordan Whitehead and newly-acquired strong safety Chuck Clark are penciled at the top of the Jets’ depth chart.

Adrian Amos spent the first four years of his career with the Chicago Bears before joining the Packers on a four-year, $37 million contract in 2019. Since then, he has been one of the most consistent defensive players in the league.

Amos started every game as a Packer and was one of just four defensive players in the NFL to do so in the past four years. He made 362 tackles, 4.0 sacks, seven interceptions, and 30 passes defended during that time.
