In what was an event-filled clash, Everton got a crucial 3-2 victory against Wolves at Goodison Park. While Wolves were off to a flying start, Everton showed that they too were hungry for an early goal, and earned themselves a 5th-minute lead through a Richarlison strike.

Wolves refused to allow this goal to dampen their resolve, however, and soon enough they drew level with their hosts through an effort by Romain Saiss.

The Goodison Park crowd were spoiled with an early goal-fest, and new star signing Alex Iwobi scored with a header in the 12th minute to put the Toffees back in the lead.

While the goals may have dried up for the rest of the first half, the action remained intense due to a balanced battle between the two sides. With Wolves refusing to give in to their resolute hosts, they eventually drew level at 2-2 through a Raul Jimenez header.

Ultimately, it would be the hosts who would steal the day, as Richarlison grabbed his second in the 80th minute to close out the scoring.

This win put Everton in 6th place in the Premier League standings, with seven points in four games. Wolves now find themselves hovering above the relegation with three points, which clearly overshadows their impressive form going into the season.

Gunner's favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, Iron Man (just the first one), and every James Bond film ever made. He's learning TV and cinema and hoping to always enjoy movies as he does now.
