Anaheim Ducks announced earlier this week that they have locked talented winger Troy Terry to a long-term extension. According to the team, Terry inked a three-year deal that will keep him with the franchise until the 2022/23 season.

Terry’s contract is worth $4.35 million in total. He will earn $1.35 million in 2020/21, with the figure increasing for $100K in each of the subsequent two seasons.

The 22-year-old winger had four goals and 11 assists in 47 games he played this season.

Ducks drafted Troy Terry in the fifth round of 2015 NHL Draft. Terry spent the two following years at the University of Denver before making his debut for the team in 2018. So far, he managed 28 points (eight goals and 20 assists) in 81 career games.

Terry is best known for his performances with the United States men’s national team. He won the gold medal with junior team at IIHF World U20 Championship in 2017 while contributing five points with the senior team at the 2018 Olympic Games.
