German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund told interested clubs they are willing to listen to offers for Christian Pulisic.

The 19-year-old winger has 21 US Men’s National Team caps with nine goals. The Hershey-born teenager heads the wanted list of a host of Europe’s top clubs. Among them, Real Madrid – desperate to fill the hole Cristiano Ronaldo left – as well as English Premier League duo, Liverpool, and Chelsea.

An unlikely scenario is selling to Bayern Munich. Dortmund fans are unlikely to accept such a decision; the scars of Lewandowski, Gotze, and Hummels are too close to the surface for another star to fly the nest to Bavaria.

All clubs are currently in the USA, participating in the International Champions Cup as part of their pre-season preparations.

Dortmund finished with a draw against Benfica of Portugal. Before that came two wins; 1 – 0 over Manchester City and 3 – 1 over Liverpool at Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, NC. Pulisic scored twice in that match, one from the penalty spot.

Speculation was rife last summer that the youngster would move. However, after another fine season in the Bundesliga, Dortmund are ready to cash in on his talent.

The English media believe Liverpool – managed by legendary Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp – are the likeliest to make a move for Pulisic. Injury to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain means that the Merseyside club has a gap in the wide midfield role which needs to be filled.

They and Chelsea have until August 9th to complete a deal.  The English transfer window closes on August 9th, three weeks before the rest of continental Europe.
