After a video of him snorting a powdery white substance went viral, Chris Foerster, offensive line coach for the Miami Dolphins resigned from the position. The video shows Foerster talking to a camera before a meeting, before taking up a rolled dollar bill and snorting the white powder that was sitting on his desk. You can check out the video below.

Following his resignation, Chris Foerster issued a statement apologizing for his actions.

I am resigning from my position with the Miami Dolphins and accept full responsibility for my actions. I want to apologize to the organization and my sole focus is on getting the help that I need with the support of my family and medical professionals.” – said Forester.

The Miami Dolphins also released a statement following the incident and Foerster’s resignation.

We were made aware of the video late last night and have no tolerance for this behavior. After speaking with Chris this morning, he accepted full responsibility and we accepted his resignation effective immediately. Although Chris is no longer with the organization, we will work with him to get the help he needs during this time.

This was Chris Foerster’s second stint with the Miami Dolphins after he was team’s offensive coordinator in 2004. Beginning his coaching career at Colorado State as a graduate assistant, Foerster went on to be offensive line coach for the Colorado State Rams and Minnesota. He entered NFL in 1993 when Minnesota Vikings hired him as tight ends coach & assistant offensive line coach. Foerster served with various NFL teams after, being offensive line coach for Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Baltimore Ravens, and San Francisco 49ers. He was hired by the Miami Dolphins in 2016.
