It’s always cool when a professional athlete engages with a fan, and probably makes the fan starstruck in the process. In our current age of social media, such things happen a lot more often than they used to, and such was the case earlier this week.

A fan asked Dez Bryant on Twitter if he had any plans to play next season, adding that he really hopes so. Bryant saw the tweet, and clearly appreciated what the fan said, because he then earnestly responded, “I plan on playing 2 more years, and that’s it for me.”

He likely made the fan’s day, but he also let the rest of us know about his plans in the process.

In another tweet, Bryant also let his fans know that he wouldn’t be staying with the Baltimore Ravens, claiming: “Baltimore wasn’t the place for me.”

However, given Bryant’s high level of talent, he’ll likely receive plenty of interest from many teams.

For the majority of his career, Bryant played for the Dallas Cowboys, where he put up massive numbers. Those stats included 531 catches for 7,459 yards and 73 TDs over eight years.

I am a reality TV junkie. My dream since I was a kid was to be on Big Brother, but until then you can catch me binge-watching episodes each summer.
