Phoenix’s Suns’ star Devin Booker has some notable achievements in his young NBA career, including making the All-Rookie team, being  NBA Three-Point Contest champion, and earning an All-Star nod. But he still hasn’t tasted the playoffs.

Reportedly, this postseason drought isn’t sitting well with Booker and is making him want to leave Phoneix. As The Ringer’s Ryen Russillo explains it, “the worst-kept secret in the league is Booker already wants out of there.”

If this report turns out to be true, it wouldn’t be a surprising development of events. Booker expressed his dissatisfaction with the Suns’ losing ways multiple times in the past and even proclaimed back in 2018 that he is “done with not making the playoffs.”

There is no doubt that Devin Booker would have numerous suitors if he becomes available, but it is hard to see Phoenix caving in and letting their best player go.

With Booker playing at an All-Star level last season, the Suns finished the campaign with a 34-39 record and best winning percentage since 2014/15. The organization now hopes to build on this momentum next season and take another step in the right direction.

Booker finished the 2019/20 averaging 26.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game while shooting career-highs from the floor and three-point range.

Gunner's favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, Iron Man (just the first one), and every James Bond film ever made. He's learning TV and cinema and hoping to always enjoy movies as he does now.
