New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is feared to be out for the season after he was forced off the field by a noncontact injury in his team’s 30-6 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. A source has claimed that the quarterback suffered a torn ACL.

Jones’ right knee buckled during the final play of the first quarter. After testing it out between quarters, Jones decided to proceed with the game, however, he collapsed on the first play of the second quarter without receiving any physical contact.

An MRI for the quarterback has been scheduled for Monday in order to determine the full extent of his injury. This comes after the X-ray that he underwent at Allegiant Stadium, which came back negative. Still, the fact that Jones suffered a noncontact injury has raised concerns that he will be out over the long term.
