The Denver Nuggets came back from a 19-point deficit against the Los Angeles Clippers to win Game 6 by a score of 111-98 and force a Game 7.
Never losing confidence even when the game seemed out of reach, the Nuggets battled back in the second half and silenced the Clippers offense, going on a 17-0 run to get back in the game and later take the lead.
The Nuggets were once again led by their do-everything big man Nikola Jokic. He finished the game with 34 points, shooting 13-22 from the field, grabbing 14 rebounds, and dishing out seven assists.
“We don’t have pressure. All the pressure is on them,” Jokic told reported after the game when asked about the Game 7 matchup.
The Clippers led the series 3-1 and looked as if they were going to cruise to the Western Conference Finals. But the Nuggets never gave up and have won two straight to knot the series up at 3-3.
Nuggets top scorer Jamal Murray also woke up after being quiet earlier in the series, scoring 21 points with five rebounds and five assists.
The winner of Game 7 will be taking on Lebron James and the Los Angeles Lakers, who recently eliminated the Houston Rockets.
