One of the brightest U.S. soccer talents, Borussia Dortmund’s winger Christian Pulisic, has been linked with a transfer to English Premier League clubs for some time now. According to multiple media outlets, Liverpool and Manchester United are interested in the 19-year-old with Tottenham considering pursuing his signature in the summer. Still, it looks like Pulisic will remain in Germany at least one more season.

His father, Mark Pulisic, spoke with Sky Sports on Tuesday and discussed the transfer rumors surrounding his son stating that Christian plans on playing for Borussia Dortmund in the next season.

He’s linked with a different club every week. I have no idea,” – Pulisic Sr. told Sky Sports. “His agent right now is working and looking, in close relation with me and Christian, and we’re just trying to see what the best phase of his next development will be. Now is the time that the season has just ended that we’ll sit down with Dortmund, we’ll sit down with, I don’t know whether other clubs are in the mix, [and see what] Dortmund’s idea is and their plans for Christian.

But there’s nothing concrete. Right now, Christian plays for Dortmund and that’s where he is planning on playing again next year,” he added while acknowledging that Premiere League move is definitely likely at some point in the future.

Although he is still a teenager, Christian Pulisic managed to gain a respectable amount of experience for someone his age. In the past three seasons, Pulisic played in 97 matches in all competitions for Borussia and scored 12 goals in the process. He has also established himself as the key part of United States men’s national soccer team, making 21 appearances and scoring 9 goals.
