Kansas City Chiefs’ Tyreek Hill threw shade at Jacksonville’s Jalen Ramsay on Wednesday saying “he thinks high of himself” and expressed his readiness to challenge the cornerback when their teams match up on Sunday.

“He’s all right I guess. I can’t wait to line up against him. I hope he presses me. He’s a great player. To get my name out there more, I need to go up against more talent like him. I’m not calling Chris Harris (Denver cornerback) or nobody else bad, but he’s top dog right now, so I can’t wait.”

Ramsay is one of the best cornerbacks in the league despite making his debut only two years ago. Hill, on the other hand, is one of Chiefs’ greatest threats. In four games this season, the 24-year-old has logged 23 catches for 364 yards. He’s also made three touchdowns on 32 targets.

Hill knows Ramsay is good and even admitted it in his statement on Wednesday. But if the Chiefs’ team quality is anything to go by, it’s Ramsay and the Jaguars who should be afraid. The Kansas-based team has an average of 4.5 touchdowns per game this season, the most in the NFL.

Kansas has arguably the best offensive players in the league while the Jaguars are defensively-talented. It will be fun to see how things turn out on Sunday, and not only because of Hill and Ramsay but because the two teams are great in their own ways.
