Eduardo Camavinga will leave international duty with the French national team early after he incurred a knee injury in training. He will return to Real Madrid, where he is set to undergo scans and medical tests at the team’s Valdebebas training complex in order to determine the nature of the injury.
The 21-year-old Madrid star was injured when he collided with France teammate and Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembélé during a practice session on Wednesday. Although his first medical diagnosis after the clash seemed positive, the second diagnosis appeared to paint a less encouraging picture.
With Camavinga ruled out of France’s matches during the ongoing international break, the next game that the French attacker could appear in is Real Madrid’s clash with Cadiz on November 26.
