The Milwaukee Bucks have to be a little bit concerned after Giannis Antetokounmpo left their Thursday game early after re-aggravating a nagging ankle injury.

Antetokounmpo crumbled to the ground, grabbing his right ankle after throwing down a slam dunk in the Bucks’ win over the Clippers.

The Greek forward has been playing with this ankle injury, which he originally suffered in Milwaukee’s March 17th game against the Philadelphia 76ers, for the past couple of weeks.

Antetokounmpo missed a pair of games immediately following his injury, but has attempted to come back in recent days.

It appeared that his decision came back to bite him on Thursday when he exited the game.

Antetokounmpo, however, claims to not be overly concerned about his injury. Despite leaving Thursday’s game early, he said that he didn’t expect to have to miss more games. He claimed that he will be ready to take the court when asked to by coach Mike Budenholzer.

Antetokounmpo is averaging 27.4 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game this season for Milwaukee, which is currently leading the Eastern Conference.
