According to reports close to the team, the Cleveland Browns’ star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. tore his ACL on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals and will be out for the remainder of the season.

Beckham hurt himself while trying to make a tackle after Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield threw an interception. The Browns, however, did end up winning the game 37-30.

Cleveland did not have any news about the injury when it happened on Sunday but feared that it was serious. An MRI on Monday confirmed their worst fears, it’s a torn ACL that will require season-ending surgery.

It’s a terrible end to the season for Beckham, who just started to look like he was getting comfortable in the Cleveland offense.

Beckham rose to fame after being drafted by the New York Giants in 2014, where he put up record-breaking numbers in his first three seasons.

However, he fell out of favor with New York’s management, who decided to move on from Beckham, who was getting a reputation for creating drama both on and off the field.

He was traded to the Browns in 2019. Coming into the game against the Bengals on Sunday, Beckham had only 319 yards receiving in six games and four touchdowns.
