The Denver Bronco released Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones on Tuesday evening after seven appearances for the club. The veteran cornerback made one interception and nine tackles for the Broncos.

Jones confirmed the news on Instagram, thanking the team for the opportunity to have him for the past few weeks. He also signaled he is still interested for a move to another club.

“Well, Denver it was good, thanks for the opportunity!!!! On to the next!!!” the player said through an Instagram post.

After he got injured in the game against the New York Jets, Jones missed week six and seven. He was also limited in the games he played, often playing as a backup for Tramaine Brock.

Head Coach Vance Joseph called the departing player “experienced” and one who often turns up in big plays.

“I think Brock is really the one that’s improved as far as how he’s covered guys,” Jones said. “He’s an experienced guy that hasn’t given up big plays. That’s been his major positive.”

At 35-years-old, it might be difficult for Jones to fight a top team that wants him. However, the veteran has also been at his best in his thirties, making it to the All-Pro in 2014 and playing in the Pro Bowl of 2015.
