Brentford defeated Fulham 3-2 at the Community Stadium on Monday night, putting them just one point behind the losers on the night who are currently ranked seventh in the Premier League with 39 points. This victory sees Brentford grab their 12th consecutive game without a loss; the Premier League’s longest unbeaten run at present.

The Bees last lost a match on October 23, when they fell 4-0 to Aston Villa. Since that surprise defeat, Brentford has managed to remain unbeaten against league leaders Arsenal and fellow top-half teams Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and Liverpool.

Aside from Brentford, Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund and Ligue 1 club Reims are the only other teams in Europe’s top five divisions to avoid a league loss so far in 2023.

Striker Ivan Toney also happened to record an impressive statistic during the Fulham game, converting his penalty to maintain his 100% success rate from the spot since Brentford was promoted to the Premier League last season. Toney has scored all of his 22 penalties in all competitions for the Bees since arriving at the team in August 2020.
