With constant rumors surrounding Jadon Sancho’s possible move away from Borussia Dortmund this summer, team president Hans Joachim Watzke has come out and named his price for the star forward.

In an interview with Bild Sport over the weekend, Watzke stated that it will not be cheap to buy the services of the 20-year-old phenom despite the expected fall in transfer costs due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The German club is set to demand at least $143 million for the sale of their star player and they certainly wouldn’t be upset to earn even more if a bidding war breaks out.

Sancho has been linked to a number of the biggest clubs in English soccer over the past several months. The London native reportedly has clubs such as Manchester United and Chelsea ready to make moves for his services on the pitch.

The England international has scored 17 goals and provided 19 assists between Bundesliga, Champions League, and cup action this season in 35 games, outstanding numbers for a winger.

Sancho also scored his first goal for the national team in September in a 5-3 European qualifying win over Kosovo.

The young star could very well be on the move this summer, but teams now know that taking him away from Borussia Dortmund will be neither cheap nor easy.
