This weekend, Westfalenstadion in Dortmund Germany was the host of the thrilling German Supercup final. The two Bundesliga clubs Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich clashed in an exciting match that showed a fantastic performance by both teams.

Even though Bayern showed great determination to take the trophy home, Borussia Dortmund managed to dominate on their home stadium, ending up as victors of the German Supercup with a final score of 2-0.

Both teams showed great skill on the field and surprisingly, Bayern had greater possession and more shots than Borussia. However, that didn’t change the final outcome.

The first half of the match was less intense and saw a few attempts on the goals but no actual goals were scored. The second half produced the first goal in the 48th minute, scored by Paco Alcacer. But the victory was secured when Jadon Sancho scored the second goal for Borussia Dortmund in the 69th minute of the match. From this point onward, Bayern made a few more unsuccessful attempts which lead to Borussia’s victory.

This game showed a completely different outcome since the last match between these two clubs back in April, when Bayern defeated Borussia with a humiliating 5-0.
