Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Green is determined to stay with Cincinnati Bengals for years to come.

Green, who is in the final year of his contract, recently told reporters that he considers Cincinnati his “home,” and that he can’t see himself “playing anywhere else” except with the Bengals.

“Cincinnati is home for me,” – said Green while at his youth camp. “I’ve been here going on nine years. This is home as much as South Carolina. This is all I know, Cincinnati. I can’t see myself playing anywhere else or playing in any different city. Hopefully, I can be here for a couple more years, but we’ll see on that part.”

Although he had problems with injuries in the last three seasons, Green is still considered one of the best wideouts in the league. He was limited to eight games in 2018 but still managed to catch 45 passes for 687 yards and six touchdowns. This is why Bengals will most likely fulfill his wish and keep the 30-year-old in Cincinnati for several more years. It just remains to be seen how much will this cost them.

A.J. Green has all sorts of motivation to stay with Bengals, but the most significant one would be that he could go down as the greatest wide receiver in franchise’s history. Green is currently second in catches, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns but he is closing in on leader Chad Johnson and might leap over him in couple of seasons.

Since being selected in the second round of 2011 NFL Draft, Green made seven consecutive Pro Bowls and has two Second-team All-Pro honors. His NFL career stats include 602 receptions for 8,907 yards and 63 touchdowns.

Gunner's favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, Iron Man (just the first one), and every James Bond film ever made. He's learning TV and cinema and hoping to always enjoy movies as he does now.
