LeBron James took his talents to Los Angeles this summer and signed with the Lakers, but Philadelphia 76ers really thought they had an outside chance to get the best basketball player in the world. After he rejected the opportunity, the 76ers fans were disappointed.

It looks like they were not the only ones since 76ers point guard Ben Simmons also said that he was a “little bit” disappointed that James rejected the opportunity to play in Philadelphia. Simmons also said that it “would been great to learn” from James.

At the same time, he did the right thing for him and his family,” – Simmons told the Daily Telegraph. “But it would’ve been great to learn from him, him being on the team and obviously competing for a championship. But we have pieces to get there.”

Even without LeBron James, Philadelphia 76ers are set for big things. They have an exciting combination of talented players, draft picks and cap space to rise as one of the best teams in the NBA. Their journey already began last season, when they had 50-32 record and grabbed the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Ben Simmons was one of the biggest contributing factors to their success since he averaged 15.8 points, 8.2 assists, 8.1 rebounds and 1.7 steals. He also won the NBA Rookie of the Year award.

I am a reality TV junkie. My dream since I was a kid was to be on Big Brother, but until then you can catch me binge-watching episodes each summer.
