Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund ace Christian Pulisic who is also wanted by Chelsea and Liverpool.

After he was appointed as captain of the US men’s team this Monday, Pulisic said he would discuss his contract in January.

“I’m still focused on Dortmund. We are doing great this season,” – Pulisic said. “Once the break comes (in January), that is always when I will have to discuss with Dortmund and see about my future. “

While Dortmund’s director Michael Zorc said the team was not interested in selling the American in the winter break, Bayern is allegedly interested. Sports Illustrated’s Grant Wahl was the first to report the news.

“Bayern Munich wants Christian Pulisic,” part of Wahl’s tweet read on Wednesday. The journalist also confirmed former Real Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui approached the USMNT for the head coach job but was rejected. “Meanwhile, Julen Lopetegui, former Spain and Real Madrid coach, approached US soccer with interest in USMNT job. US soccer said no thank.”

In addition to Bayern, Liverpool has also shown interest in the 20-year-old. According to a Liverpool official, quoted by Mirror football, head coach Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to watch Pulisic go to another team without making a move.

Chelsea is also interested in Pulisic and are being slated to win the battle for his signature.
