Bayern Munich has engaged in talks with fullback Kyle Walker after signaling their intention to sign the Manchester City player. Currently, the 33-year-old player remains on contract with Man City until the end of next season.

With negotiations over a contract extension with Man City yet to commence, the reigning Champions League winners could be convinced to allow Walker to depart for Bayern during the current transfer window so as to avoid the player leaving on a fee next summer should a contract extension not be sealed.

Man City manager Pep Guardiola previously cast a shadow of doubt over Walkers’ future at the club when he stated in April that the England international has struggled to adapt to the team’s new tactical system. This led to John Stones being preferred in Guardiola’s new system involving a five-man defensive lineup.

Walker appears to be one of several Man City players whom Guardiola is expected to offload this summer. Fellow fullback Joao Cancelo is also expected to depart the club after spending the second half of the season at Bayern Munich on loan. Doubts have also been expressed over the future of club captain Ilkay Gündoğan, whose contract is set to expire at the end of June.

Gunner's favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, Iron Man (just the first one), and every James Bond film ever made. He's learning TV and cinema and hoping to always enjoy movies as he does now.
