Long-time FC Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has begun looking forward to his future, and it appears that he values the possibility of making the move to Major League Soccer.

Suarez, who has spent the majority of his storied career with the Blaugrana and with Liverpool, told ESPN FC at the launch of the new Puma Future Flash cleats that the option of making a move to North America is a “nice possibility.”

The Uruguayan’s contract with Barcelona ends at the end of the 2020-21 season, meaning that a move is unlikely until then.

Suarez further added to his comments, remarking on what makes the league attractive to him. He mentioned the league as “a competition which has grown a lot in the last few years and you can see that with the young players that have moved there in the last two years, above all the South Americans.”

The 32-year-old forward has been linked in the past with a move to David Beckham’s nascent Inter Miami franchise.

In any case, Suarez will still be looking to contribute to Barcelona for the time being. The striker has scored 8 goals in 13 matches in La Liga and the Champions League so far this season.
