It looks like Barcelona is making a serious effort to bring back Neymar to Camp Nou. According to Daily Record, La Liga giants already opened talks with Paris Saint-Germain and have made an intriguing offer for the Brazilian forward.

Barca is reportedly willing to send Philipe Coutinho and cash to PSG in order to land Neymar’s services. The Spanish club has also made French winger Ousmane Dembele available in these talks.

While it is unclear whether PSG would consider a player exchange offer, it is important to note that Ligue 1 powerhouse tried to sign both Coutinho and Dembele before they landed in Barcelona.

Neymar has been linked with a return to Spain for some time now, with Real Madrid emerging as a favorite for his signature. According to sources close to the 27-year-old, he would embrace the comeback to La Ligue and would prefer to end up in Madrid rather than Barcelona.

Neymar had its fair share of ups and downs since coming to Paris in a record-breaking $247 million transfer. Although he managed to score 34 goals and provide 20 assists in only 37 Ligue 1 games, he struggled to remain healthy and had both of his seasons with PSG cut short due to injuries. This is why the club might be open to selling him and invest that money in other players.
