Star striker Robert Lewandowski will play at Camp Nou next season, after all. According to multiple reports, Barcelona managed to agree on a transfer fee for Lewandowski with Bayern Munich earlier this week and will make the move official in the coming days.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Barcelona will pay €50 million to Bayern for Lewandowski’s services. The Bundesliga powerhouse will receive a €45 million fee right away, with an additional $5 million coming in add-ons. Lewandowski reportedly already worked out a contract structure with Barca back in February and only needs to sign the deal.

Lewandowski was eager to leave Germany as he was entering the final year of his contract and wanted a new challenge. Barcelona was his No. 1 suitor all along but found it hard to convince Bayern to let their prized striker go. The La Liga club saw several of their bids rejected before finally managing to get a breakthrough in recent days.

The arrival of Lewandowski continues a busy summer for Barca, who already brought in Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen on a free transfer and Raphinha in a €70 million deal from Leeds United. The Catalan giants are now expected to turn their attention to selling some players, including midfielder Frenkie de Jong, who is wanted by Manchester United.

Robert Lewandowski has won eight Bundesliga titles and one UEFA Champions League trophy with Bayern Munich since arriving at the club in 2014. He played 375 games in all competitions and scored 344 goals.
