People may not have forgotten what the Houston Astros did a few years ago, but they’re still here, and they’re still going strong.

In case you may have forgotten, the Astros won the World Series over the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2017—and a few years later, it was discovered that they had cheated. However, this hasn’t slowed the Astros down in the slightest, especially now that they’ve just eliminated the Chicago White Sox in the first round of this year’s MLB playoffs.

Houston will now advance to their fifth straight ALCS, a truly impressive feat, all things considered. They’ll face off against the Boston Red Sox, a team that looks quite formidable both on paper and performance as well.

The Astros thwarted Chicago with a convincing 10-1 victory, making the series 3-1 and thus advancing with ease.

Clearly they haven’t had any issues with fans booing them and other words that have been spoken about their team, including them being nicknamed the “Houston Asterisks”.

If they can make it to another World Series, it should be an entertaining one—especially if it’s against the Los Angeles Dodgers again.

I love all things internet. Viral trends, memes and internet culture fascinate me. I spend most of my time writing about them or surfing the web searching for new topics to explore.
