Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey agreed to a £145,000-a-Week contract offer by Juventus early this week and will head to the Old Lady once his contract with the Gunners expires in June.

Juventus had already confirmed their interest in the Welshman at the beginning of this week but declined to say whether they had sealed a contract with him. According to the latest reports, Ramsey’s contract will be five-ear long and worth an estimated €6.5 million a season.

Arsenal had a chance to sign the 28-year-old all along but withdrew their offer last September after the midfielder demanded more. Juventus are serious about signing Ramsey and were willing to let go Germany’s Sami Khedira should Arsenal let go the Welshman during this transfer window.

Prior to Juventus making the move, a slew of top European clubs, including Real Madrid, PSG and Inter Milan had shown interest in the player. Ramsey, who moved from Cardiff in 2008, was one of the longest-serving players in the Arsenal roster.

He’s had over 300 appearance for the club and scored the winner goal in the 2014 FA Cup finals against Hull City. The 28-year-old also won the winner against Chelsea in 2017’s rendition of the FA Cup final. Ramsey has been a fan favorite throughout his career at Arsenal and many fans hoped he would re-sign with the club.
