It looks like Arsenal won’t tolerate Matteo Guendouzi’s antics anymore. According to several reports from England, the London club is looking to sell Guendouzi this summer with Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid being among the interested teams.

Reportedly, Guendouzi isn’t in manager Mikel Arteta’s plans anymore after displaying problematic behavior both on the field and off the field in the past. Arteta was especially irked with the 21-year-old Frenchman attitude in the 2-1 loss to Brighton a couple of weeks ago when he clashed with Brighton’s Neal Maupay.

Now the French media outlet L’Equipe claims that Guendouzi might have played his last game at Emirates and will be on the move this summer. Several clubs already approached Arsenal to enquire about the player, with Inter, Atletico, and Barcelona ready to pay the clubs’ $40 million asking price.

Matteo Guendouzi was a reliable performer for the club since joining Arsenal in 2018 from Ligue 1 side Lorient. Despite not being a major contributor in terms of goals and assists, he provided stability on the field and was the link between midfield and the defense.

Still, this might not be enough for Guendouzi to remain Arsenal’s player. Arteta is looking to build a strong team spirit based on discipline with the club and obviously doesn’t want to tolerate unprofessional behavior. So, don’t be surprised if Guemdouzi’s days with Premier League side are numbered, and he is somewhere else next season.
