After months of drama, uncertainty, and controversy, Antonio Brown finally let his play do the talking on Sunday.

Brown caught four passes from Tom Brady, including a 20-yard touchdown, in his New England Patriots debut. He finished the day with 56 receiving yards and 8 targets from Brady.

The former Pittsburgh Steelers star had an offseason for the ages, forcing his way out of his old team and ending up with the Oakland Raiders.

After a bizarre off-season that included a burned foot injury after a cryotherapy session gone wrong, a grievance over a helmet with the NFL, and a locker room confrontation with Raiders GM Mike Mayock, he found himself released by the team that traded for him just a few months ago.

Brown signed a one-year deal with the Patriots last week, pledging to focus on football and be an asset for the defending Super Bowl champions’ high-flying offense. He got off to a good start in New England’s blowout 43-0 win in Miami.

The 31-year-old wideout is expected to be one of quarterback Tom Brady’s favorite weapons along with Josh Gordon and Julian Edelman. If he can continue to produce on the field, the Pats and coach Bill Belichick will be happy with their risky bet.

Gunner's favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, Iron Man (just the first one), and every James Bond film ever made. He's learning TV and cinema and hoping to always enjoy movies as he does now.
