While already one of the most dangerous players inside the arc, Los Angeles Lakers’ power forward Anthony Davis has revealed the aspect of play that he has focused on improving before the new NBA season kicks off.

Davis has revealed that he is determined to develop his 3-point shooting. The Lakers’ player had this to say regarding his summer training: “This summer I improved the most on my 3-ball. I wanted to be able to stretch the floor…”As a big, the game is definitely going that way now. … I for sure want to get that [percentage] in the high 30s. By me doing that I’ll be able to help the Lakers as much as possible … and hopefully win a championship.”

The six time all-star scored the most points in the paint last season, apart from the NBA’s MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. While he may believe that he still has room for improvement, Davis’ shooting has improved significantly throughout the last few seasons- while he shot just 29.0 percent beyond the arc during his first five seasons, the mark has swelled to 33.6 in his last two seasons.
