Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed his intention to remain at Real Madrid until his contract expires in June 2024, thereby putting an end to rumors of his potential exit. Several reports emerged linking the 63-year-old Ancelotti to the vacant managerial position for the Brazil national team following the departure of Tite after the team’s World Cup quarterfinal exit.

Ancelotti insists that he remains committed to the ongoing project at Real Madrid and that he is focused on leading successful LaLiga, Spanish Super Cup, and Champions League title defenses while also preparing the team for the Club World Cup in February.

“I don’t know what the future holds for me, I live day-by-day,” Ancelotti commented on the Italian Rai Radio 1 show. “I have a contract until June 30, 2024, and, if Real Madrid don’t sack me before then, I’m not going to move.”

In addition to shedding light on his coaching future, Ancelotti also directed praise at Argentina head coach Lionel Scaloni for leading his team to World Cup glory on Sunday night. Ancelotti stated that Scaloni instilled a stellar defensive organization within his team.
