Miami Heat secured a 104-99 win over the Toronto Raptors on Monday night, with Bam Adebayo scoring 14 points for the winning side. This game marks the All-Star center’s return to action following a thumb injury.

In his 32 minutes on the court, Adebayo shot 4 for 12 and grabbed nine rebounds, thereby reminding Miami of the value that he brings to the team.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra expressed his gratitude for Adebayo’s return, stating: “You can see his energy out there. He makes us different.”

“We’re just blessed to have a team like this. Everybody buys in. Everybody wants to compete. And everybody wants to get the job done,” Adebayo commented following the victory.

21-year-old Tyler Herro proved to be a standout performer on the night, scoring 23 points, while Jimmy Butler impressed with a well-rounded performance, bagging 19 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds.

Miami currently finds itself in good form, having won five of its last six league matches. As a result, the team now finds itself in second place on the Eastern Conference standings, trailing only the Chicago Bulls.
