Several reports surfaced recently saying that Philadelphia 76ers’ guard Markelle Fultz would like to leave the team and have a fresh start somewhere else. But that’s not the case according to his agent Raymond Brothers.

According to Brothers, who recently talked about the status of his client with ESPN, Fultz didn’t ask for a trade nor did he expressed a desire for one to happen.

I have given no indication to [general manager] Elton Brand or anyone else that Markelle would prefer to be traded,” – said Brothers. “My focus is to get Markelle healthy. End of story.

Markelle Fultz, who was the No.1 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, had issues with injuries and confidence in his rookie season in which he ended up playing just 14 games. His struggles continued in this season as well, and the 20-year-old ended up losing his place in the starting line-up.

Now, Fultz decided that he won’t play or practice anymore until he sees a specialist in New York that could help him sort out the issues with his right shoulder injury. This has been an injury that he struggled with since 2017 NBA Summer League, and that has reportedly affected his shoot dynamics.

Markelle Fultz played a total of 19 games for Philadelphia 76ers this season, averaging 8.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.

I am a reality TV junkie. My dream since I was a kid was to be on Big Brother, but until then you can catch me binge-watching episodes each summer.
